Your Role: Technical Business Analyst
As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll be the bridge between business needs and technical execution. You’ll work closely with platform engineers, the Product Manager, and fellow analysts to translate requirements into scalable solutions that power analytics capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
• Define and refine the functional and technical scope of platform features.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and high-level solution designs.
• Conduct impact analyses and advise on architecture, tooling, and implementation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineers to challenge and validate technical decisions.
• Support audit, compliance, and risk processes (e.g., data leakage prevention).
• Join weekly BA syncs to share insights and drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
• You have preferably work 3- 5 years of experience as a business analyst, with previous roles in software development or platform development.
• A strategic mindset and strong conceptual thinking with the ability to zoom out and see the bigger picture and translate your ideas into actionable plans.
• Experience with Azure Cloud and its core services (resource groups, storage, databases, cost management).
• Familiarity with Python is a must (reading code, not necessarily writing it).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and ability to help define API specs.
• Exposure to Python web apps (Flask, Streamlit), Azure monitoring, and data services (Databricks, PowerBI).
• Solid grasp of Azure infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• A proactive, organized approach to managing priorities in a complex environment.
Bonus Points:
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.a
