For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Ops Engineer (Citrix, Windows Server, Linux, CI/CD, Scripting)
As an Ops Engineer you play a key role in ensuring the stability, security and reliability of a diverse landscape of vendor-managed and inhouse enterprise applications.
You will work in a DevOps context, closely collaborating with 2 other OPS Engineers and a Product Owner. Together you are responsible for the full lifecycle of our platforms: from infrastructure and deployments to monitoring, security and continuous improvement.
This position is a replacement of an existing role within the team and offers the opportunity to make immediate impact in a mature, highresponsibility environment.
Your responsibilities
Ensure availability, performance and reliability of vendor and internally hosted applications
Manage and operate Windows and Linux VM environments hosted onpremises and in the Private Cloud
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / ING One Pipeline) to support secure and efficient deployments
Proactively monitor, investigate and resolve incidents, minimizing business impact
Apply automation using tools such as PowerShell and Ansible
Work according to SRE and DevOps principles, including monitoring, observability and reliability engineering
Ensure compliance with ING IT risk, security and access control standards (e.g. SOLLar, PAM, CyberArk)
Actively contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and operational excellence

The Vendor Solutions team supports critical business applications used by end users across Finance, Legal, Compliance and Operations.
Our application landscape includes both onpremise and vendormanaged solutions and spans areas such as:
PurchasetoPay and Spend Management
General Ledger and Nostro reconciliation
Digital archiving and compliance tooling
Contract and procedure administration platforms
You will be part of an Agile DevOps squad, with short communication lines, shared ownership and a strong focus on quality and collaboration.

You are a handson Ops Engineer who enjoys responsibility and complexity, and who thrives in a regulated, enterprise environment.
You bring:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience as an Ops / Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer
Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments (Linux is a plus)
Experience with Citrix as an administrator
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps
Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Ansible)
Solid understanding of IT risk, security and compliance
Experience working in Agile / DevOps teams
Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
