For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Mobile Developer (Android, iOS, Java, REST API)
We work Agile in DevOps squads who are fully responsible for their application from A to Z, this means that feedback and fast learning is a critical part of your day to day job. We believe that feedback is essential for growth and put high value on effective feedback skills. We have an open culture to facilitate this and short lines to ensure support for valuable feedback. This requires that you work intensely together with your college s inside and outside your squad.
The team
You will be working in the a team which is responsible for the mobile applications and their backend. These applications are one of our main channels to communicate with our customers
all around the world. The candidate should have strong knowledge and experience in designing,
building and maintaining native Android and IOS applications. Next to that the team is responsible
for the mobile infrastructure where back-end Java applications need to be managed and enhanced.
Profile (desired skills & experience)
Expert in Android development
Experience with IOS development (Swift)
Experience with back-end development in Java and Springboot
Experience with developing secured and authenticated REST API’s.
Familiar with containerized solutions (OpenShift) and preferably familiar with Azure DevOps
pipelines
Other skills
Used to work in a DevOps environment (the team is responsible for their applications from
start till decommission)
You are able to develop efficient and maintainable code with the right balance between
solving the problem at hand and not over-engineering your solution
Experience in working in Agile/Scrum teams
Excellent English communication skills, verbal as well as written
Demonstrated proactiveness and initiative
Commitment to transparency and open collaboration
Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivery
