For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a IT Integrator / IT Risk Program Manager (Audit, IAM, Security Risk Management).
We are looking for an experienced IT Integrator / IT Risk Program manager to lead:
A proactive IT Risk & Control program (including upcoming audits)
The delivery orchestration within the change program
This is a hands-on senior role combining understanding of IT risk control principles, strong execution across many parallel initiatives and close stakeholder management in complex, evolving environments. As an IT Integrator you are part of the Tech community in the Netherlands and a key player in the cooperation between Business, Architecture, and IT stakeholders. You facilitate complex change and enabling cross-team success. You will be part of a Chapter of IT Integrator for the Customer & Data Domain, spanning several IT Areas.
What you will do and what are your responsibilities
IT Risk Control Program: Program focuses on strengthening and maintaining robust IT controls across the data landscape. You will lead the IT Risk Control program in Data Management IT area.
The assignment is to implement and drive an improvement plan to further improve, optimize and automate our IT risk processes (risk design and controls) in the datalake.
Steer a complex program with many stakeholders to resolve IT risk findings coming from audits and upcoming assessments.
At the same time, proactively identify new IT risks and control gaps across the data landscape.
For both, translate findings and identified risks into concrete improvements, define E2E remediation plans and drive them to implementation and closure.
Implementing and embedding these processes and controls sustainably in the organization.
Provide the reports-out for relevant stakeholders, with clear insights into progress, risks, dependencies and impediments.
You provide insight into the highly complex business and IT landscape to support decision making on priorities and solutions.
You work together with many stakeholders in Business, IT, Architecture, Risk and Audit and align across different lines of defence.
Set up and maintain a clear governance and reporting structure to steer progress across many different stakeholders and teams.
Change Program in Data Management: This is a program to centrally control and coordinate a large and ongoing stream of data-related changes, ensuring these changes are aligned, of sufficient quality, and do not create risks or compliance issues. Within this program, the Data Management IT area is at the receiving end of many of these changes. In this role, you are responsible from this IT area for keeping control over what is coming in, how it impacts the landscape, and how it is taken forward.
Coordinate, track and report on incoming changes from the program to Data Management, ensuring they are understood, aligned, and can be delivered within IT area. Maintain oversight, manage dependencies, and ensure progress.
Work closely with a large number of stakeholders across IT and Business to align incoming requests, clarify expectations, and ensure smooth integration into the data landscape.
Ensure that incoming changes are sufficiently defined, aligned with architectural guidelines and fit within the existing landscape, challenging incomplete or unclear input where needed.
Proactively identify gaps, misalignments, and risks across initiatives, and drive alignment between teams to resolve dependencies and keep delivery on track.
Stay actively on top of progress across many initiatives by organising alignment sessions and following up on actions.
Provide clear and structured reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and blockers to relevant stakeholders.

What you ll need to succeed:
10+ years experience in IT - Project management
Proven experience leading IT risk and control programmes, including resolving audit findings and driving remediation to closure
Ability to proactively identify IT risk and control gaps and translate them into actionable improvements
Strong understanding of IT risk control principles, with hands-on experience in monitoring, identity & access management (IAM), and vulnerability / security risk management, and the ability to assess how controls are implemented in practice
Strong track record in managing many parallel initiatives and driving execution without a dedicated team
Proven ability to operate in complex corporate environments with senior stakeholders across IT, Risk and Business, strong stakeholder management skills
Experience in coordinating across multiple teams and managing dependencies in large programmes
Highly structured way of working, with strong planning, tracking and follow-up discipline, while being able to adapt to changing scope and priorities without losing momentum
Clear focus on driving delivery and closure, with a consistent and disciplined approach, ensuring steady progress and follow-through in complex and evolving environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, structured insights on progress, risks and dependencies
Experience working in data environments (e.g. data lake, data warehouse) and understanding how controls apply in such landscapes is a plus
Experience working with audit and regulatory stakeholders is a plus
Familiarity with SOX is a plus
Familiarity with Oracle or similar data platforms is a plus
Background in banking sector is a plus
