For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Frontend Engineer.
This is a short term assignment (7 months)

At our client, Product led Thinking is about creating clear ownership, transparency and accountability for the IT products we build and run. To support this, teams need a shared understanding of what products exist, how they are governed, how they evolve over time, how they are productised and how they connect to other products.
Within COO Tech & Transformation, our mission is to enable this by bringing transparency, control and standardisation to the IT products delivered across our client. By making product information explicit and accessible, we help teams make better decisions, reduce duplication, improve cost efficiency and deliver technology more effectively at scale.
COO Tech & Transformation is organised into four subdepartments:

This function will report into the lead Product Catalogue and Standards Management under the Product & Service management department. The team is responsible for building and evolving the Product Catalogue as a central platform that supports Product led Thinking across our client.
Role purpose
As Engineer IV with a front-end focus, you will design and build the user facing experience of the Product Catalogue using our client s frameworks. The catalogue supports colleagues across our client in understanding products, ownership, lifecycle status and relationships, and increasingly provides AI assisted search and discovery.
Your focus is on turning complex product and AI driven information into clear, intuitive and trustworthy user interactions.
Key responsibilities
Design and implement front end functionality for the Product Catalogue
Build and enhance search, navigation and discovery experiences
Integrate AI assisted features into the user interface in an understandable and transparent way
Work closely with product management to iteratively improve usability and adoption
Collaborate with back end and data colleagues to deliver end to end features
Apply our client s standards and contribute to a consistent front-end architecture
What you bring
Strong experience in front end development for complex applications
A product minded approach with attention to usability and clarity
Ability to actively shape interaction flows in collaboration with product management
Comfortable working in iterative delivery environments
Previous experience at our client or strong familiarity with our client s systems and context is a plus
