For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Frontend Developer (Javascript, Angular, Test Automation).
This job is not suitable for freelancers. Candidate must be on the payroll.
Team/application description
Our (team scope) consists of:
Libraries and APIs that we provide to other teams, to support them in the development of their customer journeys. Examples are frontend components (Lit), analytics (Adobe) and REST APIs (Java) to store user preferences.
The dashboard of our main application, where users start with a view on their product state, actionable items and easy access to products and services that matter. It is the cockpit and signpost of the project. The dashboard is a Java application with a Lit frontend.
This website is a pure frontend project, built with Astro.
The role
For the frontend specialist, this is what we look for in candidates:
Broad experience with frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, accessibility, security and performance best practices. Application development with a component-based framework such as Angular, React, Vue, Svelte or Lit).
Experience with test automation.
Experience in multiple companies building and maintaining centralized component libraries (we would like to hear ‘war stories’ about it during the interview).
Good at talking to stakeholders and coming up with both functional and non-functional requirements (for centralized components used by multiple teams).
Interest in UX, able to speak ‘the language of the UX-ers’ and think along with them how to translate their vision to technical solutions and roadmaps.
Good at frontend architecture and able to translate bigger changes to step-by-step plans to roll them out over multiple teams.
Helpful type yet somewhat of a gatekeeper when it comes to the centralized components, interested in and good at helping people with frontend support requests, and helping people learn frontend on the job.
Pré: interest in or experience with (Adobe) Analytics.
Pré: banking experience.
