For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Data Flow Engineer (Apache NIFI)

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Data flow engineer for the tribe of Fraud & Cyber Security Services with experience in Nifi Data Platfom and flow building.

The Team
• As a Data Flow engineer you ll become part of the Data Orchestration Squad within Tech Fraud & Cyber Security.
• You will work in close collaboration with internationally diversified squads in the Agile organization to achieve the commitments.
• The Data Orchestration Squad is a specialized group of professionals, responsible for the design, implementation, management, optimization, and support of Data flows to Data marts to support analysing on fraud related data.
• We support Nifi-consumers by proactively identifying potential improvements.

What we expect from you:
• Experienced data flow engineer, preferably at least 2 years with Nifi.
• Pro-active in recognizing improvement possibilities and solving problems.
• Collaborative / team player
• English: fluent as we work with an off shore squad as one team.
• Flexibility in working hours: due to the different time zones both from off shore as onsite in NL, we adjust our hours in case needed.
• Nice to have:

o Knowledge/experience with Python and or Bash ( be able to read /understand existing code and make adjustments)
o Experience with running and adjusting pipelines (Azure and or GIT HUB)
o Experience with setting up monitoring on Nifi topics.

Roles and responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Maintain, create and adjust data flows to manage and structure data from different incoming systems towards our data mart.
• Collaborate with offshore teams in an agile environment
• Drive automation initiatives using modern scripting and programming techniques
• Identify and mitigate risks to minimize incidents, and outages, and enhance the customer experience
