At our client, Product led Thinking is about creating clear ownership, transparency and accountability for the IT products we build and run. To support this, teams need a shared understanding of what products exist, how they are governed, how they evolve over time, how they are productised and how they connect to other products.
Within COO Tech & Transformation, our mission is to enable this by bringing transparency, control and standardisation to the IT products delivered across our client. By making product information explicit and accessible, we help teams make better decisions, reduce duplication, improve cost efficiency and deliver technology more effectively at scale.

This function will report into the lead Product Catalogue and Standards Management under the Product & Service management department. The team is responsible for building and evolving the Product Catalogue as a central platform that supports Product led Thinking across our client.
Role purpose
As Engineer IV with an AI focus, you will integrate and productise AI capabilities within our client s Product Catalogue. The role is focused on embedding existing AI tooling into real product workflows, enabling intelligent search, discovery and explanation while maintaining trust, explainability and governance.
You work at the intersection of product, data and technology to ensure AI is used as a reliable and controlled product capability.
Key responsibilities
Integrate existing AI platforms and services into the Product Catalogue
Implement AI enabled features such as guided search and intelligent discovery
Ensure AI behaviour is grounded in catalogue data, taxonomy and domain rules
Collaborate with Product Manager and Tech IT lead to respect definitions and constraints
Work with front end and back end engineers to embed AI safely in product flows
Monitor quality, edge cases and failure modes of AI enabled features
What you bring
Strong engineering background with interest or experience in AI enabled features
Experience integrating complex external or internal services into products
Pragmatic approach focused on reliability, explainability and user value
Ability to work closely with product management and domain experts
Experience working at our client or in our client s technology environment is a plus
