That you are part of the transformation of a wide variety of on premise tooling within Regulatory Reporting IT towards one platform in the Cloud.

Making a difference
Are you the Business analyst for Regulatory reporting who joins the project that is responsible for a major Reporting Landscape Transformation? Your role will be to streamline the decommissioning of existing on premise regulatory reporting tools towards the new Cloud solution. As a Business Analyst, you can make a difference by:

• Setting up a baseline based on four pillars. This involves a thorough analysis of the current state of the landscape: stakeholders, system, process , data lineage. As IT BA you will create an overview of current data infrastructure, collect technical calculation/reconciliation rules, consistency checks and feedback loops used to enrich or adjust data.
• Planning the decommissioning: draw up a decommissioning plan that will meet the agreed timelines keeping in mind the dependencies with other systems and get agreement from the stakeholders.
• Starting the decommissioning: have a coordinating role during this step. Monitoring and reporting on the decommissioning plan and if necessary act on any incidents that occur.
• Decommissioning after care: act as a problem solver, Based on incident the BA should receive and resolve any incident that relate to the decommissioning.
• In being a sparring partner for business, development teams, product owners and other stakeholders.
• In contributing in your team by doing other tasks from a T-shape perspective.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Reporting IT is positioned within the Risk & Finance IT domain, responsible for Rabobank’s backbone IT systems for the Risk and Finance business functions. Within that domain is Reporting IT responsible for the run and change processes of Rabobank’s internal, external and regulatory reporting applications.
In your role as Senior Business Analyst you will have your home within Regulatory Reporting and more specific the Regulatory Reporting Project (RRP). You will actively work with the Business stakeholders, other delivery teams, consultants of the vendor and other internal and external stakeholders. With you as a Senior Business Analyst, the team will consist of 10+ diverse colleagues in a variety of roles, including: business analysts, developers, and operations engineers.

With you
Customer focus, analytical thinking, change execution power and persuasiveness are clearly essential for the role of Business Analyst. In addition, it's important that you recognise everything in the checklist below:
• Experience with decommissioning of banking applications and working in migration projects
• Minimum 6 years of experience in banking industry within IT: in the data processing or reporting department
• Experience with Regulatory Reporting calculations and reporting, preferably experience with COREP/FINREP
• Experience with Reporting tools, especially Tagetik, Bearingpoint or Moody’s is desirable. For internal candidates Fire knowledge is preferable.
• Broad experience with data warehousing and SQL queries
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
• Experience in agile environment, experience with DevOps, SCRUM and LEAN
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory) and Dutch (Preferable)
• Not shy of a very complex environment. Furthermore you: show initiative, are analytically strong, have a good drive, result oriented, can be persistent and you communicate clear in the style fit to the situation.
• Educated at University level
• Language: the candidate should speak English fluently.
